Santee Electric Cooperative
Georgetown, South Carolina
Size: 6,500 sq. ft.
Project Cost: $3,000,000
Why Our Process Works:
Two Hurricanes delayed construction by 3 months; however, the project stayed within budget even with the extension of the schedule.
Raised structure one foot and successfully worked around jurisdictional wetlands.
While employed with another firm, Mike oversaw a new 6500 sq. ft. office building to be constructed on their existing property without disrupting business. The project was completed and transitioned operations into the new facility for $3.0 million in 2017. The project scope was not limited to architecture alone, but incorporated multiple aspects of interior design including finishes and furniture selection. Project scope also included demolition of the existing office, re-design of truck/vehicle access and a new truck/vehicle storage facility.
