Facility Planning & Maintenance Oversight (FPMO) Program

The Facility Planning and Maintenance Oversight (FPMO) Program from MBM Consulting, LLC was born from the needs of our clients. Many businesses are unable to justify having full-time facilities personnel on staff; combined with a lack of awareness of routine facility maintenance needs, many are faced with expensive emergency repairs. Aside from the cost impact, employers struggle to pull employees from their regular job to handle facility issues as they arise. In the FPMO Program, MBM Consulting will begin with a complete assessment of all buildings, create a plan for maintenance and scheduled replacements, and enable you to protect your budget, while ensuring your investments are properly cared for annually. We aid in budget management and triage of repair and maintenance activities, as well as resolving emergency repairs when needed.

To meet the ever growing needs of our client base, we are expanding upon our original FPMO program to offer a new level of services depending on client needs. Each program has its own fixed monthly fee. Please contact MBM Consulting for more information on this fee and services rendered in each program.

  • Remote Facility Management Services (RFMS): MBM Consulting provides on-call facility support for maintenance, small furniture needs, minor security and audio/visual improvements, etc. that can be coordinated via phone, email or web conference. We serve as a remote extension of your staff to support facility needs.

  • Facility Planning & Maintenance Oversight (FPMO): MBM Consulting provides full remote and on-site support for maintenance, overall facility planning and annual budget development, and includes small project oversight. Here we serve as both an in-person (as needed) and remote extension of your staff to coordinate and oversee a multitude of maintenance tasks. We assist in planning capital projects and budget development for such projects, we offer presentation support for your Board, as needed, for project approvals, and will also oversee of small projects for your facilities. This package also includes annual or as-needed substation inspections. See more details below for each category of our FPMO support.

Summary of FPMO Activities

A long-range plan will be developed to provide support for all facilities and annual budget coordination. MBM Consulting, LLC will provide direct support for the areas detailed below in the routine maintenance and emergency repair of facilities. MBM Consulting will provide quarterly and annual on-site reviews of the facilities and will meet semi-annually with the owner for planning purposes regarding the execution of desired services.

Interiors

Included Activities/Mini Projects: Audio/Video, Furniture, Appliances, Interior Finishes, Artwork, Miscellaneous Accessories, Ballistic Protection (minor uplifts), Window Coverings, Planning for Facility Renovation or Expansion, On Call Services for emergency repairs

Assessment Items Included: Concrete, Asphalt, Parking, Curb and Gutter, Landscape, Irrigation, Fences and Gates, Site Drainage, Minor Site Modifications, Signage

Substation Inspections

Assessment Items Included: Perimeter Fencing and Gates, Driveway/Gravel Path Condition, Washout Areas, Security Concerns, and support for SWPP and RESAPP Inspection preparation.
